Send Bynder media to Akeneo
Welcome to the configuration guide for the Akeneo & Bynder Connector. This page will walk you through setting up each key feature of the connector to ensure seamless synchronization and asset management.
Requirements
Before configuring the Akeneo & Bynder Connector, please ensure that both your Akeneo and Bynder environments are connected to our platform. This connection is essential for enabling synchronization and data transfer between the two systems.
To set up The Akeneo connection, follow the steps in our How to Connect guide. To set up The Bynder connection, follow the steps in our How to Connect guide.
Global parameters
You can access your job instance from the “Integrations” tab.
Then you can select the job you want to configure.
On this page, you can check the last executions of your job. You can also click on the “Edit” button to update the configuration.
You will then access the edit page, which contains several tabs. The most important is “configuration.”
Connections
Select one of your connections for each connected tool.
Delta
To improve performance, we recommend launching the jobs in Delta mode. This means the job will be launched to synchronize only the assets modified or created since the last job execution.
The parameter is Delta and can be set to True or False:
- If true, the job will filter the assets to get only newly created or modified assets.
- If false, the job will synchronize all assets.
If you choose Yes, you will be able to set a date used as a comparison date for synchronization. (Optional)

Crontab Setup for Job Synchronization
To automate synchronization tasks between Akeneo and Bynder, an optional crontab setup can be configured. While not required, setting up a crontab will help initiate regular syncs between the two platforms for seamless data updates.
